Lindsay Crowder

Assistant Business Manager

Lindsay Crowder, originally from Somers, New York, moved to Vail in 2006 directly after college to ski. She attended Plymouth State College and then transferred to Auburn University and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a focus in International Relations. It was during this time in New Hampshire while attending Plymouth State College she worked at Loon Mountain Ski Resort and realized how much she loved the ski town lifestyle.

Lindsay, or Lady Rose (nicknamed by her Mountain Standard coworkers for her appreciation of dry Italian Rose), has been part of the hospitality industry since she was 17 years old. Since being in the Vail valley she has worked at La Tour, Avondale in the Westin, and Zino before joining the Mountain Standard team in 2023. She started her current role of Assistant Business Manager in May of 2024. She states she has also worked in retail as well as the fitness industry but her most important role job has been being a mom to her son Jackson.

Part of what drew Lindsay in the hospitality industry was the fast pace as well as giving a memorable experience when she was their server. She also loves the people she works with in restaurants.

When not in the restaurant you can find Lindsay spending time with her son and with her friends. Right now, her son's current obsessions are playing UNO and hanging out with their sweet cats, Chilly and Piper. Otherwise she loves the typical Colorado things; skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, camping, getting out on the river, gardening, live music and pilates.

She loves being part of the Mountain Standard and Sweet Basil family and is grateful to be here.
